Zhejiang University of Finance is a public higher vocational and technical school approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, which is led and managed by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education. Zhejiang University of Finance was founded in 1975, formerly known as Zhejiang Bank School, and was formally established in June 2002 under the direct control of the head office of the People's Bank of China.
The college mainly trains high-quality professionals for the economic and financial industries. In 2006, the school was identified by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the first batch of "National Model Higher Vocational College Construction Units" in China, and passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance with excellent results in 2009. 20 17 was identified as the key construction higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang province.
The school has successively won the honorary titles of "National Advanced Collective of Vocational Education", "National Advanced Collective of Financial Vocational Education", "National Typical College of Graduates' Employment Experience", "Zhejiang Model Worker Collective", "Huang Yanpei Excellent Vocational Education School" and "Zhejiang Advanced Vocational Education Unit".
Hangzhou Credit Rating Company, Zhejiang Zhongcheng Credit Rating Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Jinyuan Training Center, which are wholly owned by the school, are the main windows for the college to serve the society.
Over the past 40 years, Zhejiang University of Finance has made great efforts to forge ahead and has sent nearly 60,000 outstanding economic and financial talents to financial institutions in Zhejiang Province and even the whole country. The initial employment rate of graduates has remained above 98% year after year.
