The Shanghai Gold Exchange is a legal person established by the People's Bank of China with the approval of the State Council. It performs the functions stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of Gold Exchanges, organizes gold trading in accordance with the principles of openness, fairness, justice and honesty, and does not make profits, and implements self-discipline management. The Exchange officially opened on October 30th, 2002/KLOC-0.
The exchange mainly adopts the standardized matchmaking trading method, and the trading hours are: from 9:00 am to 9: 30 pm 15:30 pm 19:50-2:30 pm every Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). The commodities of the exchange include gold, silver and platinum.
