Brief introduction of Zhengzhou Unicom

China Unicom was established with the approval of the State Council on July 1994. It is the only large state-owned enterprise in China that operates integrated telecommunications services. In June, 2000, China Unicom was successfully listed in the United States and Hongkong, and entered the international operation mode. Zhengzhou Branch of China United Network Communication Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhengzhou Unicom) was established on February 3, 2008. It is a full-service state-owned large-scale telecom operation enterprise born from the reorganization and integration of former Zhengzhou Netcom and former Zhengzhou Unicom. In the national telecommunication system reform, the name of the enterprise was changed from Zhengzhou Telecommunication Bureau, Zhengzhou Communication Company and Zhengzhou Netcom Company to today's Zhengzhou Unicom Company, which is the full-service operation enterprise with the strongest comprehensive strength in Zhengzhou area. Its establishment is an important part of China Unicom's strategic reorganization, the result of further deepening the reform of the telecommunications enterprise system, and an important milestone in the history of Zhengzhou Telecom. Zhengzhou Unicom belongs to China Unicom Henan Branch, which is mainly responsible for the development and construction of China Unicom in Zhengzhou. Zhengzhou Unicom was formally established on February 26th, 2000.
