On this basis, a variety of brands have emerged, but there is no obvious difference in corrosion resistance between them. Different countries have different brand names. We will provide you with the brand names of Monel400/alloy400: the national standard is 68Ni28Cu28Fe, the American standard is Monel400/alloy400, ASTM B 127, ASME-127, AMS 4554, JIS NW4400 in Japan and DIN 2.4360 in Germany. DIN 1743 in Britain, NiCu30Fe, EG 1 in NTR and NA 13 in Incoloy A286.
But there is little difference in chemical composition. Let's look at the chemical composition of Monel400/alloy400 alloy: C: ≤0.3, Ni NiNi: 63~67, AL:≤0.50, Fe ≤ 2.5, Mn: ≤ 1.50, Si ≤ 65438+.
The hardness of various alloys is different, among which the hardness of bar less than 54MM is1149HB, that of bar greater than 54mm is 140~24 1HB, and that of hot rolled plate is125 ~ 2. Cold rolling above 93HRB. Of course, the hardness will fluctuate with different product specifications. Tensile properties (RM/MPa): bar 590, cold-rolled state 789, cold-drawn state 775, annealed state 480, semi-hard state 520 and fully hard state 808. Yield (MPAa): annealed state 398, semi-hard state 673, fully hard state111.
Corrosion resistance of Monel400/alloy400: Generally speaking, its corrosion resistance is better than that of nickel and copper. It is more resistant to corrosion in reducing medium than pure nickel, more resistant to corrosion in oxidizing medium than pure copper, and has good corrosion resistance in fresh water, seawater and brackish water. It can be used to manufacture propellers and shafts, pump shafts, impellers, condensation heat exchangers and structural parts in splash zone of oil production platforms. Excellent corrosion resistance to H2SO4, H3PO4 and carbon. Especially fluorine gas, H2SO4, Na2SO3, HF and their derivatives have good corrosion resistance. But it does not apply to H3PO4 and organic acids. In HCl, it is only suitable for HIC acid with the concentration less than 15% at room temperature. At the same time, it has better corrosion resistance than copper-based alloy in seawater, good seawater corrosion resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and strong chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance. It is one of the few important materials that can withstand HF. It is resistant to corrosion in H2SO4 with concentration less than 85%. In most cases of water corrosion, not only the corrosion resistance is good, but also pitting corrosion and stress corrosion rarely occur. The corrosion rate is less than 0.025 mm/a, and the high temperature of continuous operation in air is generally around 600℃, and the corrosion rate is less than 0.026mm/a in high temperature steam. Because of its high nickel content, the alloy can resist corrosion under anhydrous ammonia and ammoniation conditions below 585℃. It has good corrosion resistance to chloride salt, sulfide salt, nitrate, carbonate, H2SO4 aluminum, H2SO4 ammonium, NH4Cl, zinc chloride, etc.
Monel400/alloy400 is easy to be hot-formed, and the temperature is in the range of 927~ 1 177, and it can be slightly deformed at 649 degrees. Monel400/alloy400 alloy is easy to form. The heat treatment temperature is generally 87 1~982℃, but for the sake of performance and grain refinement, the solution temperature should not be too high. Solution annealing is generally selected between 87 1~982.
Monel400/alloy400 alloy has good weldability, and different welding methods have different welding wires. Monel60 and 190 welding wires are generally selected.
