Hainan University is a comprehensive key university in Hainan Province, which was formed by the merger of South China University of Tropical Agriculture and Hainan University in August 2007. It is a university jointly established by Hainan Provincial People's Government, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance. It is a national key construction university of "2 1 1 project", a national key construction university of "one province and one school" in the central and western regions, and a national "double-class" discipline construction university.
Hainan Tropical Ocean University is a full-time public undergraduate provincial university founded by Hainan Provincial People's Government, State Oceanic Administration, China Offshore Oil Corporation, Sanya Municipal People's Government and Sansha Municipal People's Government. Hainan Medical College (hereinafter referred to as "Haiyao") is located in Haikou, the capital of Hainan Province, a tropical coastal tourist city with beautiful scenery, known as the "Coconut City". It is the only provincial-level public medical college in Hainan Province and the only medical college located in tropical areas in China. In the 2065438+2007 list of the top 500 best universities in China jointly published by People's Daily and Guangming Daily, Shanghai Medical College ranked 302nd and Hainan University ranked second.
