We fulfill our economic responsibilities by standardizing corporate governance, creating outstanding performance, and promoting industrial restructuring and upgrading; By promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, we will develop "new building materials, new houses and new energy materials" and fulfill our environmental responsibility; By promoting the construction of safe production, improving occupational health management, striving to increase social employment, assisting the development of poverty and disaster areas, and fulfilling the responsibilities to employees and the public. In 2009, we joined the World Cement Sustainable Development Initiative, and continued to promote the regional joint reorganization of the cement industry. While reorganizing existing assets and improving industrial concentration, we will increase technological transformation and incremental investment of enterprises and guide the development of the industry to change from focusing on capacity and output to focusing on efficiency and value. We will continue to fully assist in the reconstruction of the disaster area. The first large-scale industrial project of post-disaster reconstruction in Sichuan earthquake-stricken area-Beichuan Zhonglian 4800-ton cement clinker production line was completed and put into operation in only 10 month, which became a landmark key project in post-disaster reconstruction. We have given full play to our scientific and technological advantages and built nine scientific and technological demonstration projects and projects in the earthquake-stricken areas for recycling construction waste and building earthquake-resistant and energy-saving houses. It also actively undertakes the social poverty alleviation responsibility of central enterprises, increases counterpart poverty alleviation support, implements poverty alleviation through science and technology and industry, and builds solar cell projects in Chizhou.

In the process of building a "two-oriented" society in China, we will continue to develop energy-saving and environmental-friendly new building materials, new houses and new energy materials according to the low-carbon development idea of "adjusting structure, reducing energy consumption, optimizing resources and promoting recycling", and lead the cement and glass industries to develop in the direction of high efficiency and low emission.
