Standard for thickness of galvanized coating

Galvanized steel plate refers to the metal substrate of cold-rolled steel plate, which can be directly made into paint barrels or other metal containers, and can also be used as decorative plates. The galvanized sheet is coated with colored paint to become a colored zinc sheet. Generally, galvanized iron plates above 183g/m are selected for wall decoration, and galvanized iron plates above 244g/m are selected for roof decoration. In addition, there is a kind of steel plate without any other metal plating cloth, which is similar in size to tinned steel plate, and its basic property is the steel matrix characteristics of tinned steel plate. In the production of printed iron, this plate is suitable for miscellaneous cans, lids, thermos shells, signs and other products coated with paint on both sides, and is also often used as a base material coated with iron.

Introduction to folding editing this paragraph

Zinc plating on the surface of low carbon steel plate can improve corrosion resistance. The main production methods of galvanized sheet are hot plating and electroplating. The zinc layer of hot dip galvanizing method is thick, which is 60~300g/m (single side); Electroplating is mainly produced by acid bath, and its zinc layer is thin, 10~50g/m (single side), with uniform and stable thickness and smooth surface. Galvanized steel plate with alloy coating, such as zinc aluminum, zinc iron, zinc nickel, etc. It can improve the corrosion potential of zinc coating and prolong its service life. Galvanized sheet has good corrosion resistance and low cost, so it is widely used in construction, automobile, vehicle, furniture, household appliances and other industries.

Because the surface of galvanized steel plate is silvery white, also known as "tin plate", it is made of galvanized ordinary steel plate with a thickness of 0.5-1.5 mm. Because its surface is protected by galvanized layer, it plays an anti-rust role and generally does not need to be painted again. In some projects, galvanized steel coils are widely used, which makes it easier to make fan pipes (air ducts). It is not only used to make air ducts, but also used to make fan housings, self-hanging shutters, silencers, static pressure boxes and so on. Beautiful appearance, retaining the galvanized pattern of iron sheet, not easy to rust.

Galvanized steel plate is formed by plating a zinc protective layer with a thickness greater than 0.02 mm on the surface of pickled steel plate. The thickness of galvanized sheet is 0.44 ~ 1 mm, and its structure is as follows.

The production process of galvanized steel sheet can be divided into hot dip plating and electroplating according to the galvanizing method. The output of hot-dip galvanized sheet accounts for the vast majority, and it is the main galvanized sheet for packaging. The production process of hot-dip galvanized sheet is as follows:

Rolling steel plate → electrolytic cleaning → annealing → flattening → shearing → pickling treatment → zinc dipping → water washing → air drying → galvanized steel plate.

The common dimensions of galvanized steel sheet are: thickness 0.44~0.88mm, width1800 mm× 900 mm.

Fold and edit the classification and purpose of this paragraph.

According to the production and processing methods can be divided into the following categories:

① Hot dip galvanized steel plate. Immerse the steel plate in molten zinc bath, so that a layer of zinc steel plate is attached to its surface. At present, it is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the rolled steel plate is continuously immersed in zinc bath to make galvanized steel plate;

② Alloy galvanized steel plate. This kind of steel plate is also made by hot dip plating, but it is heated to about 500℃ immediately after it is taken out of the tank, so that it is naturally plated with zinc-iron alloy. This galvanized sheet has good adhesion and paint weldability;

③ Galvanized steel plate. The galvanized steel sheet manufactured by electroplating method has good processability. However, the coating is thin and the corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot dip galvanized sheet;

④ Single-sided galvanized steel plate and double-sided differential thickness galvanized steel plate. Single-sided galvanized steel plate, that is, a product that is galvanized only on one side. It has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet in welding, painting, antirust treatment and processing. In order to overcome the disadvantage of not coating zinc on one side, there is another kind of galvanized sheet with thin zinc on the other side, that is, double-sided differential galvanized sheet;

⑤ Alloy and composite galvanized steel plate. It is a steel plate made of zinc and other metals such as lead and zinc through alloying or even composite plating. This steel plate not only has excellent antirust performance, but also has good painting performance.

In addition to the above five kinds, there are colored galvanized steel plates, printed galvanized steel plates and PVC laminated galvanized steel plates. But at present, the most commonly used is hot-dip galvanized sheet.

Galvanized steel plates can be divided into ordinary galvanized steel plates, indoor galvanized steel plates, building exterior plates, structural galvanized steel plates, corrugated galvanized steel plates, stretched galvanized steel plates and deep-drawn galvanized steel plates.

Fold and edit the appearance of this paragraph.

(1) Surface state: The galvanized sheet has different surface states due to different treatment methods in the coating process, such as common zinc flower, fine zinc flower, plain zinc flower, zinc-free flower and phosphating surface. German standards also stipulate the surface level.

(2) The galvanized sheet shall have a good appearance, and there shall be no defects such as coating, holes, cracks, scum, over-plating, scratches, chromic acid pollution, white rust, etc. which are harmful to the use of the product. Foreign standards are not clear about specific appearance defects. When ordering, some specific defects should be listed in the contract.

For safety reasons, please fold and edit this paragraph.

Galvanized steel plates shall be put into storage, padded and stacked horizontally according to specifications. A small amount can be stored on the grid frame. Galvanized steel sheet will produce water stains of white powder when it meets water. When it comes into contact with chemicals such as salt, saltpeter and ammonium chloride, it is easy to damage the zinc layer, so it should be avoided.

Galvanized steel plates generally do not rust and are not oiled. If rust is found, dry cloth should be used to wipe off the rust ash, which should be stored separately and used in advance.
