Li Yi's scientific research direction

The main research direction is "Discussion on the Mechanism of Immune Tolerance", focusing on the subnuclear localization of AIRE protein structure, the tissue and cell distribution of AIRE protein and the role of AIRE in self-tolerance. Revealing the mechanism of autoimmune tolerance has important biological significance and clinical application value: 1) Revealing the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases and providing specific means for treatment; 2) Inducing transplant tolerance and preventing transplant rejection; 3) Inducing allergen tolerance and preventing allergic reaction; 4) Breaking tumor tolerance and stimulating effective tumor immune response.
