Over the past 50 years, 18 iron mines, 9 concentrator, a number of auxiliary production units and non-mining industrial projects have been built successively. According to the enterprise's own advantages, taking the development and comprehensive utilization of iron ore resources as the main direction, we will vigorously implement the mining development strategy. Laiwen Iron Mine and Zhengjiapo Iron Mine in Shandong, Li Lou Iron Mine and Nuopu Iron Mine in Anhui have been developed successively. The amount of resources controlled has increased from1.1.70 billion tons at the end of 2002 to more than 500 million tons at present. The capital construction of 2.7 million tons of iron concentrate/year mine in Huoqiu area of Anhui Province is under way; Shandong Zhengjiapo 800,000 tons iron ore/year project will be completed and put into operation in the near future. At the end of 2007, a general agreement was signed with Mauritanian National Mining Company to jointly develop TAZADIT iron ore project. At the beginning of 2008, the exploration team and equipment entered the site to carry out exploration work, thus truly going abroad to develop the mining industry. Enterprises pay attention to technology and management innovation, and many economic and technical indicators are in a leading position in the same industry in China. At present, it keeps the record of the shortest construction cycle from capital construction to production of large underground ferrous metallurgical mines in China. In 2005, it ranked 646th among 2 154 national industrial enterprises above designated size announced by the National Bureau of Statistics. In the "Top 500 Taxpayers in China" published by State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China in 2005 and 2006, it ranked 279th and 404th respectively, and ranked 12 among listed enterprises in Hebei Province. It has been rated as one of the top 100 enterprises in Hebei Province for seven consecutive years, ranking first in the ferrous metal mining and dressing industry in Hebei Province. In 2006, it was rated as the advanced unit of the fourth five-year plan of the central enterprises and the advanced unit of the fourth five-year plan of the whole country. In 2007, it passed the ISO900 1:2000 international quality management system certification; In the same year, it was recognized as "the pioneer enterprise of iron ore mining and dressing industry in China in 2007" by China Federation of Industrial Economics. At present, there are 0/0 iron ore/KLOC-0 and 9 concentrator, with an annual output of 6 million tons of iron ore and 3 million tons of iron concentrate. The production scale ranks in the forefront of underground mines in China and ranks first in Hebei Province.
