Industrial Distribution of Foreign-funded Enterprises in Kunshan

Kunshan is located in the most economically developed Yangtze River Delta in China. It is an important emerging industrial and commercial city in Shanghai economic circle and one of the high-density areas of international capital investment. Kunshan is also one of the areas where Taiwanese businessmen invest most intensively in Chinese mainland. At present, Taiwan capital is 2.5 billion US dollars, accounting for about a quarter of Jiangsu Province.

According to the person in charge of Suntory Beer (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., it took the company a year and a half to choose the site, and finally it was chosen in Kunshan, and it took a fancy to Kunshan's good investment environment and talent quality. In addition, Kunshan is close to Shanghai, and the transportation is very convenient, which is also an important reason why they are in Kunshan.

It is reported that seven parks in Kunshan, such as Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Kunshan Export Processing Zone, Kunshan Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center and Kunshan High-tech Industrial Park, are very attractive to foreign investors. French Alcatel, Japanese Toyota Auto Parts, Finnish Kone Elevator, and Taiwan Province Company have invested and set up factories in Kunshan. Kunshan Export Processing Zone, which was established only one year ago, has attracted a total investment of 810 million US dollars.
