Is Wuhan Metro a state-owned enterprise?

Wuhan Metro Group Co., Ltd. is a large state-owned enterprise, responsible for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of Wuhan metro lines. Its predecessor was Wuhan Rail Transit Co., Ltd. At present, Rail Transit 1 Line (overhead line), Line 2 and Line 4 (underground line) have been completed and put into operation, and the lines under construction include Line 3 (trial operation is expected on February 28th, 20 15), Line 6, Line 7, Line 8 and Airport Line.
