What does an actuary do? The employment scope of actuaries includes insurance companies, asset management companies, fund companies and securities companies. The corresponding positions are actuarial, finance, planning, investment, asset management, risk management, underwriting, data analysis, internet insurance and so on. With the development and application of actuarial science, the field of actuarial work has gradually expanded to social insurance, investment, social security, demographic analysis, economic forecasting, financial supervision and other fields.
Actuary application conditions:
1. Requirements for applying for quasi-actuary qualification: bachelor degree or above (equivalent degree recognized by the state); Pass all subjects in A 1-A8.
2. Conditions for applying for actuary qualification: China quasi-actuary qualification; Three years actuarial related working experience; Meet one of the following conditions: life insurance direction: pass the accounts of F 1L, F2L, F3 and F8, and pass the accounts of F4, F9 and F 10 at least 1. Non-life insurance direction: at least 1 through F 1, F6, F7 and F8 accounts, and at least1through F2, F5, F9 and F/kloc-0 accounts.
Actuary registration procedure:
Anyone with a bachelor's degree or above or equivalent, including undergraduates, can sign up for the China Actuary Qualification Examination. Online candidates can download the registration form through China Actuary Network, and then register at each test center.
The applicant must provide one of the following valid personal identification documents: resident ID card or passport of the People's Republic of China, active military officer card of China People's Liberation Army and Armed Police Force, soldier card, civilian cadre card, year-old demobilized military officer card or Hong Kong and Macao resident ID card, Taiwan Province compatriots' passports to and from the mainland, and foreigners' passports.
At the same time, provide the original and photocopy of personal education certificate, and provide the student ID card and its photocopy for college students. Candidates who register online or by mail only need to provide relevant copies, but they must produce the original documents during the exam.
Three one-inch bareheaded recent photos of the same edition should be provided at the time of registration. The registration examination fee should be paid at the time of registration, and the registration fee for each course is 100 yuan, which will not be refunded after payment. Candidates should fill in the examination registration form in duplicate. False or fraudulent registration is invalid.
Actuary performance management:
Precautions for scoring test scores: The scores published in the China Actuary Qualification Examination shall be subject to the 10 scoring system, and scores above 6 (including 6) shall be deemed as passed.
China actuary qualification examination will not be reviewed in principle. If the candidates themselves think that the published results are different from their expected results, they can apply for a review of the results within 15 working days after the release of the test results. There is no time limit after all subjects pass, and the results are valid for life.
