All our drilling equipment is well maintained, and at the same time, we strive to improve and upgrade the existing drilling equipment to integrate high-tech drilling technology and equipment. We have installed the most advanced drilling drive system for all drilling wells, which enables them to use more than 90 feet of drill pipe without being limited by the standard 30-foot drill pipe length. The advanced drilling drive system also keeps the drill pipe rotating when inserting and withdrawing from drilling, which greatly improves the drilling speed, personnel safety and drilling efficiency, and greatly reduces the danger of drill string sticking during operation. We also improved two sets of drilling equipment to make them work normally under high temperature and high pressure. Our drilling equipment team can drill oil wells with water depths ranging from 20 feet to 1500 feet, which can fully meet the drilling requirements in China sea area under various complicated conditions.
We attach great importance to the renewal and maintenance of equipment, and build new production capacity in time according to market demand. For example, COSL's first self-built 400-foot jack-up drilling ship (COSL94 1) was delivered in May 2006, and the South China Sea Beibu Gulf operated smoothly, greatly enhancing COSL's international competitiveness in drilling. On September 29th, 2008, COSL completed the merger and handover of AWO Company in Norway, and the equipment service capacity of drilling ship was rapidly improved. The operation depth of the company's entire drilling fleet presents echelon structure, providing customers with more choices. At the same time, the company's overall fleet age has also been greatly reduced. With the input of the production capacity of these new drilling vessels, the business of the other three sectors of COSL will also form a synergistic pulling effect. Modular drilling rig service and drilling platform management service COSL has the ability to provide drilling ship management services. On June 5438+ 10, 2006, COSL was awarded the management service of its semi-submersible drilling ship by Iran North Drilling Company, which realized the leap of managing other drilling ships.
