Further treatment results of Luotuoshan coal mine accident

On March, 2065438 1 day, a particularly serious flooding accident occurred in Luotuoshan Coal Mine of Shenhua Group Wuhai Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wuhai Energy Company), resulting in 32 deaths, 7 injuries and direct economic losses of 48.53 million yuan. This is a particularly serious production safety accident caused by imperfect water exploration and drainage measures, inadequate water prevention and control, and failure to evacuate underground personnel immediately after finding signs of water seepage. Twenty-nine persons responsible for the accident were investigated, including Yang Guoqiang, deputy manager of a Tuoshan project department of China Coal Energy Group Fifth Construction Company (hereinafter referred to as China Coal Fifth Construction Company), Chang Yue, commander of Tuoshan project of Shaanxi Yulin Hongtai Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yulin Hongtai Construction Company), Zhang, dispatcher of Tuoshan coal mine dispatching room, Shang, director of Tuoshan coal mine dispatching room and other four persons responsible for the accident were transferred to judicial organs for criminal responsibility according to law; 25 persons responsible for the accident were given disciplinary sanctions, mainly including: Hao Yong, manager of Camel Mountain Project Department of Yulin Hongtai Construction Company, was dismissed from the party membership; Wu Degui, director of the first division of China Coal Wu Jian Company, was given administrative demotion, and Li Xinbao, general manager of China Coal Wu Jian Company, was given a serious warning within the party; Tian Wuqiang, the head of Luotuoshan Coal Mine, was given administrative demotion, and Sun Jianling, the general manager of Wuhai Energy Company, was given a serious warning within the party. Wuhai Energy Company was fined 3 million yuan, China Coal Wu Jian Company was fined 2 million yuan and Liaoning Chengxin Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. was fined 250,000 yuan. The government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was instructed to make a profound written inspection to the State Council, and China Coal Energy Group Corporation and Shenhua Group Corporation made a profound written inspection to SASAC in the State Council.
