Face recognition is a biometric technology for personal identification based on facial feature information. Face recognition is to use a camera or video camera to collect images or video streams containing faces, automatically detect and track the faces in the images, and then perform a series of related application operations on the detected face images.
Technically, it includes image acquisition, feature location, identity confirmation and search. The face recognition system mainly includes four parts, namely, face image acquisition and detection, face image preprocessing, face image feature extraction, matching and recognition. The main products of face recognition are digital cameras, access control systems, identity recognition, network applications and entertainment applications.
