As an internationally renowned engineering contractor, CMEC ranked third among the top 50 enterprises in China's foreign contracted projects in 2008 announced by the Ministry of Commerce of China. CMEC has advantages in international project contracting, export of complete sets of equipment and import and export of mechanical and electrical products. In particular, contracting international power station projects and various large-scale engineering projects by general contracting is in a leading position in China. Building the world's first dual-fuel 6FA gas turbine combined cycle power station; Domestic 600,000 kW supercritical coal-fired power plants and 600,000 kW subcritical lignite power plants entered the international market for the first time.
