China China Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd., referred to as China Coal Group for short, is a large-scale energy central enterprise managed by the State Council State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Its predecessor was China Coal Import and Export Corporation 1982, which was established in July.
The Group's main businesses include coal production and trade, coal chemical industry, coal mine equipment manufacturing, pithead power generation, finance and related services, coal mine construction, coal machine manufacturing, coalbed methane development and related engineering and technical services. At present, there are 4 wholly-owned companies, holding and shareholding subsidiaries, 4 overseas institutions, joint-stock enterprises, and registered employees.
