A brief history of Shanghai Marathon Innovation Electric Co., Ltd.

Formerly known as Shanghai Innovation Electric Machine Factory, it belongs to Shanghai Electromechanical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Electric. Shanghai Innovation Electric Machine Factory is the first professional manufacturer of generators, motors and electric fans in China. Starting from 1988, Shanghai Innovation Motor Factory cooperated with American Marathon Company to produce NEMA standard and full horsepower motors in a licensed form, all of which were sold to the United States. 1996 established Marathon Innovation Electric Co., Ltd. with American Marathon Company, mainly producing marathon generators.
