Beijing used electricity late. In the early days, only the Qing court and foreign embassies in China had the conditions to use it, mainly honest officials and foreign businessmen. In the 28th year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty (1902), Shi Lvjin, the minister of punishments of Qing Empire, and Feng Shu, a fellow countryman, raised capital of 82,000 yuan, and Shi Lvjin wrote. 1904 was officially approved by the Ministry of commerce, and 1905 Shi Jing huashang electric light co., ltd was formally established. The company built a power plant in Qianmen Xichenggen, and officially opened the power supply business on125. This power plant, with an initial capacity of only 300 kilowatts, is the starting point for the development of public power in Beijing and the predecessor of Shijingshan Power Plant. After two expansions, the installed capacity reached 19 12 and reached 3035kW.
With the increase of power load, Qianmen Power Plant cannot be expanded in the city center due to the limitation of water source and coal storage site. After many twists and turns, Shi Jing Huashang Electric Light Co., Ltd. finally chose to build a new factory near Yongding River in the northwest of Shijingshan, formerly known as Shijingshan Power Plant, to burn Jingxi hard coal (anthracite) in Mentougou Coal Mine where Feng Shu was a shareholder nearby. Shijingshan Power Plant started construction in August, 19 19, and a 2000 kW turbo-generator and three boilers were newly installed. Power generation was officially started in June 192 10, and power was sent to Beijing 1922 in February. With the demolition of the unit, Qianmen Xicheng Root Old Factory moved to Shijingshan New Factory, completing its historical mission. Later, Shijingshan Power Plant was expanded one after another. There are 5 units at 1936 * * *, and 12 low-pressure boilers with a power generation capacity of 32,330 kilowatts. In 1938, with the first. 13 and no 14 medium-pressure and medium-temperature chain furnaces, the history of only low-pressure and low-temperature equipment in the whole plant ended. This productivity level has been maintained until 1940.
1940 In February, Huashang Electric was dissolved due to compulsory acquisition of its share capital. Pseudo North China Electric Power Co., Ltd. was established, and Shijingshan Power Generation Branch was directly under the jurisdiction of the company, and it was renamed Beijing Power Generation Institute. In order to support the war of aggression, Japanese militarism plundered China's power resources and increased its investment in the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan area. 1942, the installation of Unit 6 of the 25,000 kW turbo-generator set, the largest unit in North China, and two supporting medium-and medium-temperature pulverized coal boilers began, but the project was not completed and put into production until Japan surrendered unconditionally. From 65438 to 0946, the Resources Committee of Nanjing National Government took over the electric power industry and established Hebei Electric Power Company. Beijing Power Station was changed to Beiping Power Station, which was directly under the jurisdiction of the company. Unit 6, 16 and 17, which were once interrupted, were all connected to the grid on 1947, and began to be connected to the 77 kv transmission line of Jintang power grid. It took 29 years from Shijingshan Power Plant of Huashang Electric Company to Beiping Power Plant of Hebei Electric Power Company. Four units are installed in the whole plant, with a power generation capacity of 55,000 kilowatts. The transmission line has two voltage levels of 33 kV and 77 kV, which was the largest power plant in North China at that time. However, due to outdated equipment, backward technology, long-term neglect of maintenance, chaotic management and frequent accidents, it was ridiculed by the public as a "dark company".
1948 65438+February, Shijingshan power plant was liberated, the working class became the owner of the plant, the whole plant established a new production relationship and production order, reformed equipment, reduced accidents, reduced costs, and quickly resumed and developed production. Starting from 1956, Shijingshan Power Plant was expanded in two phases, adding two German-made units with 12000 kW and one Swedish-made unit with 30000 kW, so that the installed capacity of the whole plant reached 1 15000 kW.
1958, Shijingshan power plant set up a design review team composed of engineers, technicians, workers and leading cadres, and designed and built Gaojing power plant by itself. 1959 65438+February, the first phase of the project started. Under very difficult conditions, more than 30,000 tons of cement, 1 1,000 tons of steel and 7,000 cubic meters of wood were unloaded in less than one year, which ensured the quality and progress of the project. 1 961February,1unit was officially put into operation. 1July, 966, Unit 2 was put into operation for power generation. Gaojing Power Plant lasted 15 years, and was completed in June 1974 after six phases of projects. Six 65438+100000 kW turbo-generator sets were installed with a total installed capacity of 600000 kW. While constructing Gaojing Power Plant, 1973 continues to construct Jingxi Power Plant. 1975 200,000 kw oil-fired units are connected to the grid for power generation.
1In July, 1980, Shijingshan Power Plant merged with the former Guanting Hydropower Plant to form Shijingshan Power Plant. The General Plant consists of Shijingshan Power Plant, Gaojing Power Plant, Jingxi Power Plant, 1 13 Power Plant and Guanting Hydropower Station, Xiamaling Hydropower Station, Xiaweidian Hydropower Station and Modaokou Hydropower Station.
1983, the State Planning Commission approved the transformation of the old factory area in Guangning Village of Shijingshan Power Plant into a thermal power plant. 1984 blasting started in the main workshop. 1985 and 10 installed three 200,000 kw steam turbine-generator sets with three 670-ton/hour coal-fired boilers. Three units were completed and put into operation at 1988, 1989 and 1990 respectively. In the early 1990s, there was a serious shortage of electricity in Beijing, and the demand for central heating increased. In order to ensure the stable heating of three units and meet the maximum heating demand, it is decided to expand a 200,000 kW heating unit, which is listed as the key project of "95 1 1 Project" of North China Electric Power Group. The project started in July 1993 and put into production in June 1995. So far, the total installed capacity of Shijingshan Thermal Power Plant has reached 800,000 kilowatts.
1995, Shijingshan power plant has three thermal power plants, four hydropower stations and 1 oil turbine power station, with a total installed capacity of 65.438+07.66 million kilowatts, power generation of 7.64 billion kilowatts per hour and an annual industrial output value of 566 million yuan.
In March 2000, Shijingshan Power Plant was renamed Beijing Jingneng Thermal Power Co., Ltd., becoming the first modern large-scale joint-stock power generation and heating enterprise in Beijing. At present, the plant has four 200MW modern large-scale coal-fired steam turbine generator sets, with an annual power generation of about 5 billion kWh, a heating capacity of 8.6 million Ji Jiao and a heating area of 24 million square meters. It is an important supporting factory and main heating unit of Beijing power load.
