Guangzhou International Medical Port covers an area of 730,000 square meters, with a construction area of 6.5438+0.5 million square meters and an initial investment of 4.864 billion yuan. The project is located in Dongsha Economic Development Zone, Liwan District, Guangzhou, with good land and water transportation conditions such as roads, highways and subways inside and outside the port area. The project adopts the innovative business model of "pharmaceutical exhibition trade+e-commerce+modern logistics", with pharmaceutical trade logistics distribution as the leading factor, supporting the construction of trade, exhibition, management office, quality inspection, informationization, scientific research and education, culture and other functions, and becomes the largest and most functional pharmaceutical trade logistics base in Guangzhou. This project integrates the resources of pharmaceutical industry in South China, and promotes a new round of leap-forward development of pharmaceutical industry economy in our province and even in South China.
Guangzhou International Medical Port is a modern medical trade logistics project approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, controlled by Hong Guang Asset Management Company and jointly built by three medical logistics enterprises.
At present, this project is the only medical, commercial and logistics project approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in China. It is a key construction project in Guangdong Province during the 11th Five-Year Plan and in Guangdong and Guangzhou, and has been written into the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government on Building a Strong Province of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
