OTA is developed based on K-JAVA of SUN company in the United States. K-JAVA is a basic platform designed for devices with small screen and small storage capacity (such devices are generally mobile phones). On this platform, many common functions of computers can be realized by programs provided by third-party software vendors, such as e-mail, word processing, picture browsing, animation, data retrieval and so on. Our company started from 1996 and began to pay attention to the spotless project initiated by Sun Lab in 2000. The future development direction is to provide programs that can expand the performance of devices with small screens and small storage capacity. Experimental development began in the same year, but a serious problem was encountered when developing K-JAVA applications. All the technologies about OTA servers are in the hands of foreign companies such as MOTO, SUN and 4thpass. In order to break through the technical barrier, our company began to tackle the key problems of OTA server on June 5438+ 10, 2002, and set up a key project team. The project team joined hands with experts in all aspects of the company to tackle key problems. Finally, MOTO 388 was successfully used to download the first application from the test server: "Water Pipe". At this point, China people also have their own OTA technology. We call it OTA( OTA Over The Air). After mastering the OTA technology with independent property rights, our company has conducted more in-depth research and development in the field of wireless applications. Now our OTA products have been partially formed and tested in many industries.
