What does the company law share capital mean?

Legal analysis: Capital stock is the money paid by shareholders for subscribed shares. Shareholders are the holders of shares. Shares are also called shares. Companies and enterprises that raise funds by issuing stocks divide their total capital into several small units according to the same amount, and each unit is called a share. Each share represents a certain amount of capital.

Legal basis: Article 142nd of the Company Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). Limited by shares, the shares of the company held by the promoters shall not be transferred within one year from the date of establishment of the company.

Shares issued before the public offering of shares by the company shall not be transferred within one year from the date of listing and trading of the company's shares on the stock exchange.
