Legal analysis: the following information is required: (1) application for company change registration signed by the legal representative of the company (with the official seal of the company); (2) Certificate of the designated representative or authorized agent signed by the company (official seal of the company) and a copy of the identity certificate of the designated representative or authorized agent; (3) Resolutions and decisions on amending the Articles of Association; (4) The revised articles of association or amendments to the articles of association; (5) If laws, administrative regulations and decisions of the State Council require approval to change the company name, submit a copy of the relevant approval documents or license certificate; (6) A copy of the company's business license.
Legal basis: Article 6 of the Regulations on the Administration of Enterprise Name Registration allows an enterprise to use only one name, which shall not be the same as or similar to the name of an enterprise registered in the same industry within the jurisdiction of the registration authority.
If there are special needs, with the approval of the registration authority at or above the provincial level, enterprises can use subordinate names within the prescribed scope.
