Medium-thick steel plate is a flat steel with large width-thickness ratio and large surface area. The thickness of steel plates is greater than or equal to 5.0 mm, and they are divided into ordinary carbon plates, high-quality carbon plates, low-alloy plates, ship plates, bridge plates, boiler plates and container plates.
In practical work, the thickness; 20-60mm steel plate is called thick plate, and its thickness is >; 60 mm steel plate is called extra thick plate, collectively referred to as medium thick steel plate.
