The Historical Evolution of China Petrochemical Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd.
The first phase of the project 1974 piling, 1976 completed and put into operation, and built 18 sets of production equipment mainly producing ethylene, polyester, vinylon, acrylic fiber and plastics. The construction of this project has contributed to promoting China to master the new technology of petrochemical chemical fiber, independently produce petrochemical products, accelerate the development of synthetic fiber industry and solve the problem of people's clothing. The second phase of the project started on 1980, and was fully completed on 1985, mainly constructing 10 sets of production devices. This project has enabled Shanghai Petrochemical to add 200,000 tons of synthetic fiber raw materials every year, greatly improving its production capacity. The third phase of the project 1987 started, and 1992 was fully completed. Mainly build 7 sets of production facilities with an annual output of 300,000 tons of ethylene. After the completion of the project, Shanghai Petrochemical became the largest petrochemical production base in China at that time. 1993, Shanghai Petrochemical Company was reorganized from Shanghai Petrochemical General Factory into Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited. Joint-stock system makes Shanghai Petrochemical take the lead in establishing the basic framework of modern enterprise system in China petrochemical industry, and has embarked on a road of reform and development of state-owned enterprises that conforms to China's national conditions and has the characteristics of Shanghai Petrochemical. The fourth phase of the project started in 2000 and was completed in 2002. This paper mainly carried out a series of transformation projects with an annual output of 700,000 tons of ethylene. This project has brought Shanghai Petrochemical Company to a new level in production scale, technical level, product quality, sales revenue and comprehensive strength. From 2003 to 2009, Shanghai Petrochemical Company implemented the structural adjustment project (the fifth phase project) with optimizing the structure and realizing sustainable development as the main line. It mainly includes new "bottleneck" projects in oil refining, such as comprehensive utilization projects such as 3.3 million tons/year diesel hydrogenation unit, 6.5438+200,000 tons/year delayed coking unit, 600,000 tons/year PX aromatics combined unit, 6.5438+500,000 tons/year C5 separation unit, 380,000 tons/year ethylene glycol unit and a number of energy-saving and environmental protection projects. Through structural adjustment projects, Shanghai Petrochemical Company further optimizes the resources and product structure, maintains the comprehensive competitive advantage of refining and chemical integration, and improves the competitive strength of enterprises in terms of scale, cost, technical content and product quality.
