Are State Grid subsidiaries the same as State Grid?

The subsidiary of State Grid is different from State Grid. State Grid subsidiaries and State Grid Corporation are the products of market-oriented reform of power system. The former was reformed by the Ministry of Electric Power, and then split into five power generation companies and two power grid companies. State Grid Corporation is one of them, and the other is China Southern Power Grid Corporation, which is in charge of five southern provinces, and all other provinces are owned by State Grid Corporation.
