There are several steel mills in Linyi Lingang, namely Rizhao Iron and Steel Plant, Linyi Luo Iron and Steel Plant, Luo Zhuang Iron and Steel Plant, Linyi Iron and Steel Plant, Linyi Jiangquan Iron and Steel Plant and Tancheng Iron and Steel General Plant. Linyi Lingang Economic Development Zone was established with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government on October 22nd, 20 10.
Located in Rizhao, an emerging port city in the southeast of Shandong Province, it is only 4 kilometers away from Lanshan Port, Linyi Shopping Mall in the west and Lianyungang City in Jiangsu Province in the south. It is at the core of the east bridgehead of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge and an important hinterland of coastal ports in southern Shandong and northern Jiangsu.
