Beijing Sony Ericsson Putian Mobile Communication Co., Ltd., formerly known as Beijing Ericsson Putian Mobile Communication Co., Ltd., was established in August 1995. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture invested by Ericsson and its China partner. On June 30, 2004, it was officially renamed as Beijing Sony Ericsson Putian Mobile Communication Co., Ltd., which is controlled by Sony Ericsson.
