Development course of Taiyuan Heavy Industry Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd.

The company is one of the earliest manufacturers engaged in R&D, design, production, sales and service of wheels, axles and wheel parts for rail transit mobile equipment in China. In 1990s, it began to enter the field of R&D and manufacturing of rail transit products, and obtained the qualification of axle and wheel production of the Ministry of Railways in 199 1 997 respectively, and gradually developed into the only enterprise in China that produces wheels, axles and wheelsets at the same time. Axle production line, as a national key project in the Seventh Five-Year Plan, was completed and put into operation on 199 1, with reasonable technological process and layout, with an annual output of 80,000 axles. The main production equipment is SHP32 precision forging press made in Austria. The whole line is controlled by microcomputer, which integrates mechanical, electrical and hydraulic technologies. 1997 introduced the special production equipment of CSW in Canada, and after system design and technical innovation, the second domestic steel integral wheel production line was built, with an annual output of 200,000 wheels. The localization project of key components of high-speed train started on 20 10, including high-speed wheel production line, heavy-duty axle and wheelset production line, etc. The high-speed wheel production line of Taiyuan Heavy Industry's "Localization Project of New High-speed Train Axles" was completed and put into operation at the end of 20 12, and the new production facility is located in Taiyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The original axle production facilities of Taiyuan Heavy Industry Axle Branch are located in the company headquarters. In order to further enhance the intensive management and resource sharing in the new and old fields of axle products and more effectively promote the development of the company's rail transit equipment industry, it is decided to register and establish a wholly-owned subsidiary "Taiyuan Heavy Industry Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd.".
