Among them, Dongfeng brand of Dongfeng Motor, Zhongtong brand of Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. and Feichi brand of Foshan Feichi Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. led the top three with 9 models, 9 models and 5 models respectively.

So who provided the hydrogen fuel cell system, the core component of these hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCV)? How much market share did companies grab when the fuel cell automobile industry was in the ascendant?

Statistics from the Research Department of Power Battery Application Branch show that from 20 18 to the first half of 20 19, Shanghai Remodeling Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Remodeling), Shanghai Electric Drive Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Electric Drive), Guangdong Guo Hong Remodeling Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangdong Guo Hong Remodeling) and Beijing Yihuatong Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Yihuatong). The total installed capacity contributed by the four enterprises is 68.47MW, accounting for 70.55% of the total installed capacity in this period.

The fuel cell system is provided by Edelman Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. and Wuhu National Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., with installed power of 0.035MW and 0. 124MW respectively.

Although the industry of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles is not yet mature and the market needs to be developed, with the increase of policy support, there are more and more upstream and downstream entrants, and the competition among fuel cell system suppliers is becoming more and more fierce. Both passenger cars and box-type transport vehicles have begun to show obvious "head effect", and about three companies have seized about two-thirds of the cakes in the market. At the same time, other companies are also testing the water, trying to take the lead and grab as much as possible in the uncertain overall situation of the fuel cell vehicle market.

In addition, through comparison, it can be found that different fuel cell system suppliers focus on different fields. Taking the total installed power of fuel cell vehicles as an example, the battery products modified by Guangdong Guo Hong and Beijing Yihuatong take into account both passenger cars and special vehicles, but they are relatively biased towards hydrogen fuel cell buses; The main fields of Xinyuan Power, Shanghai Remodeling and Shanghai Electric Drive are relatively simple. The former all bet on passenger cars, while the latter two bet on box-type transport vehicles. Companies give full play to their advantages and try to win the first place in the start-up of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
