This project is the first time to realize photovoltaic construction in intertidal zone of tidal flat. Zhejiang Branch and Yuhuan Power Plant creatively put forward a full-time construction scheme of integral cofferdam in view of the bottleneck of site selection in the muddy intertidal zone along the southeast coast. The Huaneng ecological cofferdam with a length of 10 km was built with independent innovation patent technology, and the cofferdam was implemented by storing water in blocks, which solved the problem that continuous construction could not be carried out due to tidal influence and improved transportation efficiency.

During the construction period, Huaneng attached great importance to ecological protection.
