1, sowing and breeding
First, we need to collect its seeds, usually from 10 to 12. Save the collected seeds and sow them next spring, usually indoors. Before sowing, the soil should be selected first. Generally, the soil is loose, so the soil should be disinfected first.
After planting the seeds in the soil, cover them with a thin layer of soil or not, and then spread a layer of plastic wrap on them to keep the humidity. Pay attention to poke some holes in the film. It will germinate in about half a month at a temperature of 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. When two or three leaves grow, you can remove the film and let it gradually receive light. But you can't put it in the sun. When the seedlings grow five or six leaves, they can be planted in pots.
2. Cutting
Breeding time is determined by its flowering time. After it blooms, cut it from the bottom and put it in an environment of 5 degrees with the pot. After about a month or two, it will sprout new buds, and then it can be moved to a warm room. You should water more at this time. After the new bud grows, you can cut off its weak branches and leave stronger branches.
3, ramet propagation
This copy can be made when changing pots. Generally, after flowering in autumn and winter, turn over or change pots when the soil is dry. After we take the plant out of the flowerpot, we must first cut off the old roots and residual roots, and then naturally split it into small plants, each with some roots and sufficient buds, and then plant them on the seedbed respectively.
4. Grafting propagation
We can collect the seeds of Artemisia annua L. or Artemisia annua L. in autumn, or dig wild Artemisia annua L. seedlings directly in the seedbed in spring. At this time, it is necessary to increase water and fertilizer to make it grow stronger. When the seedlings grow to 10 ~ 16cm in May and June, the rootstock can be cut off at 6 ~ 7cm from the ground. Then trim it, and after 14 days, we can graft it by splitting.
When grafting, first remove the leaves at the interface, pay attention to avoid the middle, about 2 to 3 cm long, and then quickly insert chrysanthemum buds. Finally, fix it and moisturize it with plastic bags until it survives.
