Development of American Applied Materials Company

In 2005, the revenue of Applied Materials Company reached 7 billion US dollars, ranking first in the field of semiconductor production equipment 14 years.

As a global company, Applied Materials Company started its business in China as early as 1984, becoming the first foreign semiconductor production equipment supplier to enter China. The footsteps of applied materials companies are also advancing with the development of semiconductor industry and integrated circuit industry in China. Applied Materials Company was officially registered as a wholly-owned company in China on 1997. China is headquartered in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Pudong, Shanghai, with offices and spare parts warehouses in Beijing, Tianjin, Suzhou and Wuxi. In 2003, Applied Materials Company established the first foreign semiconductor manufacturing equipment remanufacturing center in Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.
