Shanghai Sugar, Tobacco and Alcohol (Group) Co., Ltd. was founded in the early 1950s as a Shanghai monopoly company (in charge of tobacco and alcohol monopoly). It was renamed as Shanghai Tobacco and Alcohol Sugar Company from the middle and late 1950s to around 62 years, renamed as China Sugar, Tobacco and Alcohol Company Shanghai Company 63 years later, and directly called Shanghai Sugar, Tobacco and Alcohol Company 70 years later. Note that tobacco, alcohol, sugar industry and sugar industry are just the opposite.
Shanghainese are generally called tobacco and sugar companies according to history. Even after the establishment of the tobacco company in the mid-Kloc-0/980s, the sugar, tobacco and alcohol companies did not actually deal in tobacco. However, since the tobacco, liquor and sugar companies merged into Guangming Group, in recent years, they gradually began to emphasize the "sugar and liquor group".
