When a salesman of an insurance company is demoted, his salary shall be determined according to his job responsibilities, working hours and company regulations after demotion. If the salesman is demoted because of poor work performance and other reasons, the company has the right to adjust his salary accordingly or stop delaying his salary.
However, in case of demotion due to force majeure or other non-salesman's personal reasons, such as company's business restructuring and organizational structure adjustment, the salary of salesman should be reasonably guaranteed, and relevant laws, regulations and enterprise regulations should be observed to safeguard employees' labor rights and interests.
