What's the difference between company division and spin-off listing?

Corporate division means that the parent company distributes its shares in subsidiaries to the shareholders of the existing parent company according to the shareholding ratio of the shareholders of the parent company in the parent company, thus legally and organizationally separating the operation of subsidiaries from that of the parent company. Split listing refers to the separation of some businesses or subsidiaries of listed companies and their separate public offering.

Article 175 of the Company Law When a company is divided, its property shall be divided accordingly. When the company is divided, it shall prepare a balance sheet and a list of assets. The company shall notify the creditors within 10 days from the date of making the resolution of separation, and make an announcement in the newspaper within 30 days.
