On June 28th, Jiangsu New Century Shipbuilding Company held a contract signing ceremony for the construction of four 320,000-ton VLCC (Very Large Crude Oil Tanker Management Co., Ltd.) with Greek shipowners in Jingjiang, Jiangsu, with a total contract amount of 380 million US dollars. The acquisition of 4.32 million tons of VLCC will be the largest shipbuilding order in China in the new century, which will have a far-reaching impact on the domestic shipbuilding industry in the post-financial crisis era. The 320,000-ton VLCC hull has a total length of 333 meters, a width of 60 meters, a depth of 30.50 meters and a design draft of 20.50 meters. The total number of segments is 247, including 68 plane segments; The total weight of the structure is 47,634 tons, the average segment weight is 169 tons, and the heaviest segment is 360 tons. The painting area of the whole ship is 760,000 square meters, and 20,000 pipes are needed. The first ship is expected to be delivered in September 2065438+2002. Danone Nakon cooperated with New Century Shipbuilding in 2006. In the new century, shipbuilding began to build four 73,400-ton tankers for it, and all of them were successfully delivered. Since then, a 10 163000-ton tanker has been built for it, and five tankers have been successfully delivered. In the long-term cooperation process, the new century has won these new orders with good service and excellent product quality.
