Will led lights explode when working in high humidity?
Hello, the protection level of ordinary household LED lamps is IP20, but it is not waterproof, and it is ok to work at 95% humidity. Excessive humidity will not cause explosion, because LED lamps do not work under high pressure. In fact, a small transformer and a constant-current and constant-voltage rectifier circuit are used as a driving power supply to convert the commercial power into low-voltage direct current and then provide it to LED lamps. However, if the humidity exceeds the design limit, the LED will not work normally. You can choose LED tubes with higher protection level, such as IP44, and the highest level is IP68. I attach a standard list of protection levels for your reference. Choosing the right protection level does not mean that the higher the protection level, the better, because the higher the protection level, the higher the cost and the more expensive the price.
