FEPCO, a subsidiary of Rosneft, plans to build the largest integrated refining and petrochemical complex near Nakhodka in the Far East Federal District of the country. The joint venture will include120,000 tons/year refinery to provide raw materials for the newly-built petrochemical joint venture. Once completed in 2 1 early 1920s, the plant will provide a local market for the Russian Far East, and take advantage of its proximity to the Asian market to meet the demand for petrochemical products.
Russian Sibr Company announced on April 19, 2065438 that it will help change the industry dynamics in the next two years. By then, its flagship ZapSib petrochemical project with an investment of 9.5 billion US dollars will be put into production in Tobolsk, eastern Russia. It is expected to be put into production in 2020. ZapSib petrochemical project will double Russia's overall polyolefin production capacity. The consortium will include a steam cracking unit, designed to produce 6.5438+500,000 tons/year of ethylene and 500,000 tons/year of propylene, and the capacity of the downstream unit will be 6.5438+500,000 tons/year of polyethylene (PE) and 500,000 tons/year of polypropylene (PP). Sibr has put into production propane dehydrogenation and 500,000 tons/year polypropylene plant in Tobolsk.
