Huadu District1960 was designated as a county in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in April. 1June 1993 18, with the approval of the state, the county was withdrawn and the city was established, and it was named "Huadu". On may 2, 2000, kloc-0, the city was withdrawn and the district was set up, which is known as the north gate of Guangzhou.
Now Huadu has four sub-district offices in Xinhua, Huacheng, Xiuquan and Xinya, six towns in Shiling, Chini, Tanbu, Huashan, Tiemian and Huadong, and *** 188 village (neighborhood) committees. The intangible cultural heritage projects in Huadu District include grey sculpture, Pangu King's birthday, Hakka folk songs, China enamel making skills, Lantern Festival, heather, Cantonese opera and Ling Rui bonsai.
