China China Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd. is a large energy enterprise managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Its predecessor was China Coal Import and Export Corporation, which was established in July 1982. Its main business includes coal production and trade, coal chemical industry, pithead power generation, coal mine construction, coal machine manufacturing, coalbed methane development and related engineering and technical services. At present, there are 4 wholly-owned companies, holding and shareholding subsidiaries, 4 overseas institutions, joint-stock enterprises, and registered employees. By the end of 2009, the total assets were 654.38+047.6 billion yuan, ranking 77th among the top 500 Chinese enterprises in 2008.
