Nanning University (NNU), referred to as "South Campus" for short, is the first batch of pilot universities for the reform of applied science and technology universities by the Ministry of Education and the first batch of board members of China Universities of Applied Sciences (College) Alliance. The first member of the non-profit private college alliance of the Ministry of Education. The first municipal comprehensive undergraduate university in Nanning's history. 1985 was founded by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee of Revolutionary Committee of Chinese Kuomintang. It is a full-time undergraduate college registered by the Ministry of Education. The name of the college was inscribed by Shu Tong, a famous calligrapher in China, and Nanning College implemented the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors. Since July 2009, the college has been run by Nanning Weining Asset Management Co., Ltd. in cooperation with Guangxi Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee. 2012165438+1On October 23rd, the Ministry of Education approved Yongjiang University to be upgraded to Nanning College.
As of May, 20 18, the school has 9 secondary colleges, enrolling students from more than 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), 22 undergraduate majors and 15 higher vocational majors. The specialty setting covers seven disciplines, including engineering, management, literature, art, law, agronomy and economics, forming a multi-disciplinary coordinated development system with engineering as the mainstay and management and art as the supplement.
