Since 1980s, Pfizer Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of the United States has invested more than 10 billion US dollars in China. It established the first modern factory (GMP certification) in Dalian on 1989, the second pharmaceutical factory in Wuxi on 1995, the Beijing management center on 1997, Shanghai Pfizer Investment Co., Ltd. in 2004 and Shanghai Pfizer China R&D Center in 2005. In 2007, Pfizer Asia-Pacific Financial Center was established, 20 10 Wuhan R&D Center was established, and 20 16 Pfizer Global Biotechnology Center was established in Hangzhou.
