Sanjiang is one of the important timber base counties in Guangxi, and it is also a national key forestry county.
The annual output of Sanjiang tea is nearly 4,000 tons, with an output value of nearly 200 million yuan. Tea oil covers an area of 760,000 mu and was once known as "the hometown of tea oil in China". With the title of "the hometown of tea in Guangxi", it is marching towards a big tea county in China.
Sanjiang has a profound Dong culture and is an important tourist county in Liuzhou and Guangxi. In 2008, it won the title of "Excellent Tourist County in Guangxi" and the national 4A-level scenic spot.
Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County is named after three big rivers in China, namely Rongjiang, Jiang Xun and Miaojiang. The year is dominated by mountainous climate, with cold wave in spring and rainy days, heavy rain and high temperature in summer, drought in summer and frost in winter, with four distinct seasons.
