Is it better for state-owned enterprises or central enterprises?

State-owned enterprises and central enterprises have their own advantages.

State-owned enterprises, that is, state-owned enterprises, refer to enterprises that the State Council and local people's governments exercise the responsibilities of investors on behalf of the state. State-owned enterprises include wholly state-owned enterprises, wholly state-owned companies and state-owned capital holding companies. Central enterprises, that is, central enterprises, are enterprises entrusted by the Central People's Government (the State Council) or the state-owned assets supervision and administration institution to exercise the responsibilities of investors.

Generally speaking, the treatment of central enterprises is higher than that of state-owned enterprises, but there may be obvious differences in specific positions. At present, among the best-paid central enterprises, military, telecommunications, oil, gold, tobacco and other enterprises are among the best. From the salary level, State Grid, PetroChina, Sinopec and other central enterprises belong to the first echelon, while China Mobile, China Unicom, China Netcom and other central enterprises belong to the second echelon.

The difference between central enterprises and state-owned enterprises

The regulatory authorities are different: state-owned enterprises are usually under the jurisdiction of local governments and directly controlled by local SASAC. Central enterprises are directly managed by the State Council, under the jurisdiction of SASAC, Ministry of Finance, Central Huijin and other departments in the State Council, and some senior executives of central enterprises are appointed by the Central Organization Department.

The scale of enterprises is different: central enterprises are often super-large group companies, which are truly owned by the whole people and are also the pillars of the national economy. State-owned enterprises are generally enterprises controlled by local governments, with small scale and few employees, and only have certain influence at the local level.

Difference in salary and treatment: It is difficult to give a one-sided answer to the question of which is higher in salary and treatment between state-owned enterprises and central enterprises, and the treatment enjoyed by different enterprises is very different.
