The microporous carbon blocks produced by our company have been used in Angang No.7 blast furnace, 1 1 (2580 m3) blast furnace, Hangang 2000 m3 blast furnace, Laigang No.2 blast furnace 1880 m3 blast furnace, Xianggang 1800 m3 blast furnace and Xinyu 1200 m3 blast furnace. This new type of semi-graphitic roasted carbon block has been used in 3200m3 blast furnaces in Angang and Kazakhstan, and in several 300-2000m3 blast furnaces in Angang No.7,1(2580m3), Nangang 2000m3 blast furnace, Laigang, Xianggang, Haixin and Sangang. Micro-porous carbon-silicon carbide bricks have been used in 2000 m3 blast furnace of Kungang, 0/800 m3 blast furnace of Jiugang/KLOC, 0/200 m3 blast furnace of Beitai and 450 m3 blast furnace of Beitai. Graphite blocks were used in the 3200m3 blast furnace in Jintan, Kazakhstan. Micro-porous small carbon blocks have been used in many 300 ~ 750 cubic meters blast furnaces such as Kungang, Hanggang, Xinfu Steel and Lengshuijiang, and have been well received by users.

The new carbon lining material developed by Wuhan has passed the technical appraisal of the former Ministry of Metallurgy and the Ministry of Textile, and won the third prize of national scientific and technological progress, the gold medal of China Invention Association and more than ten provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress awards.
