First, the characteristics:

4. Insoluble anode can be used to reduce investment and capital occupation. As long as the materials are fed according to the process requirements, there is no need to worry about the imbalance of ingredients;
5. The main salt contains no cyanide, which is convenient for transportation and storage.
2. Process specification:
Imitation gold salt 70g/l
Sodium cyanide 50g/L
The temperature is 20~40 degrees.
The current density is 0.5-3 amps/square decimeter.
pH 9~ 12
The time is 30-60 seconds.
Anode stainless steel plate (area not less than 2 times of cathode area)
3. Preparation of plating solution: put imitation gold salt and sodium cyanide into the plating bath, add water, stir and dissolve, and then try plating. Insoluble matter can't be filtered, but will naturally settle or stir evenly, which will not affect the electroplating quality.
Four. Fault problem:
1. Red tone: (1) The temperature is too high; (2) The current is too small; (3) The 3)pH value is too low; (4) The content of sodium cyanide is low.
2. Pale hue: (1) The temperature is too low; (2) the current is too large; (3) When the content of main salt is low, add a proper amount of imitation gold salt, dissolve it with NaCN according to the formula ratio, and then add it into the plating solution together with insoluble matter.
3. Uneven color tone: (1) The area of the electroplated part is too large and the shape is too complicated, which increases the electrode spacing; (2) The front coating is poor, the water is not clean, and the idle stop time is too long; (3) The temperature is too low or too high; (4) The current is too large or too small; (5) poor conductivity, check the wiring and installation; Stainless steel plate is not conductive well, so it is best to bend it tightly on the anode rod without hook. (6) If the plated parts are not electrified in time after entering the tank, it is best to plate them with high current for 5 seconds first, and then reduce them to the required current; (7) The main salt content is low, as mentioned in Item (3) of the preceding paragraph.
5. Maintenance: 1. According to the volume workload, 100dm2/ liter is plated with 25g/ liter of gold imitation salt, and the gold imitation salt and NaCN are mixed according to the formula ratio, and then added with appropriate amount of water or dissolved in plating solution, and put into the tank together with insoluble substances (the consumption is different due to different current time, so this value can be used as a reference. If the coating is normal, it can be added without or with less; 2. Citric acid can be used to lower pH value, and NaOH can be used to increase pH value, both of which can be added in solid state; 3. Be sure to take out the anode plate and scrub it.
6. Suggested technological process (water washing omitted): pretreatment-bright copper plating-bright nickel plating-imitation gold-passivation-drying-transparent coating-drying.
(Note: After imitating gold, it can be directly dried with water-soluble paint without passivation. )
