Characteristics of startup companies:
Business: new demand, unverified, competitive pressure, adjust at any time. Team: flat structure, hard-working people/more, simple/direct communication, barbaric growth. Environment: poor environment, lack of supporting facilities, residential area and instability. Welfare: low salary, nonstandard, low welfare standard, stock option.
90% companies will not live to 1 year, 95% companies will die within three years, and less than 1% companies will eventually go public. High risk and high return.
Characteristics of listed companies:
Business: The core business is very mature, often incubating projects internally, with sufficient resources and stable business. Team: the organizational structure is perfect, the promotion channel is clear, the staff is complex and the internal friction is high, and the performance /KPI drive is flexible. ? Environment: Excellent environment, complete facilities, office buildings or independent buildings. Welfare: high salary, standardized welfare, high standards, extra welfare and less long-term incentives.
Stable income, mature business, good welfare, excellent working environment, perfect organizational structure and little personal influence. High welfare is slightly mediocre.
Teacher's point of view: No matter what company, there is an iron law: enterprises will not raise rabbits. Personal learning ability is strong, self-driven ability is strong, and startup companies are better because they can give full play to themselves. In addition, enterprises are not schools, enterprises require you to have output, and personal growth is based on career.
My opinion: If you don't have strong willpower, average learning ability and average desire for self-learning, then if you just graduated and choose between a startup company and a listed company, I suggest you go to a listed company honestly, where you can get systematic training and other benefits.
If you have strong self-control, strong desire to learn, and strong learning ability, and hope to surpass yourself, then no matter what stage or age you are in, you can consider starting a company, where you can have a stage for self-development.
