The first and second phases of Songyu Power Plant invested and managed by the company installed four subcritical coal-fired generating units with 300,000 kilowatts. Two units of the first-phase project were officially handed over for trial production in1March 1996,1June 1997,1September 1999/October, passed the national completion acceptance in1April 1999, and were awarded "one" by the State Power Company in July 2000. The second phase of the project started construction in June 2005, and two units were put into commercial operation in March and August 2006 respectively.
