Attach importance to ecological construction in mining areas. In 2006, our company invested 360 million yuan in environmental protection. Among them, Pingshuo mining area is located in Shanxi province, where the ecological environment is fragile, and 230 million yuan has been invested in ecological environment construction. By the end of 2006, the total reclamation area in the mining area was nearly 30,000 mu, with 6 million plants and herbs 1 10,000 hectares, and the reclamation rate reached 4 1.6%, which significantly improved the ecological environment in the mining area. The ecological reclamation and greening project in Pingshuo mining area is listed as a demonstration project of coal industry.
Vigorously develop circular economy. After being treated, the production and domestic wastewater in our company's mining area is used for production, greening, road sprinkling and even domestic water, all of which are reused, and the wastewater in the mining area achieves zero discharge. By 2006, there will be three coal gangue power plants, with an annual utilization of 5.44 million tons of coal gangue; A natural gas power plant has been built, with an annual utilization of 35 million cubic meters of natural gas. Shanghai Datun Energy Co., Ltd. was rated as "National Advanced Mining Enterprise for Rational Exploitation and Utilization of Mineral Resources" by the Ministry of Land and Resources in 2006, and was also listed as a provincial circular economy demonstration unit.
Improve the recycling rate of resources. The coal washing water of all coal washing plants of the company and the circulating cooling water of all power plants have achieved closed circulation. In 2006, the average recovery rate of well industrial and mining areas reached more than 8 1%, and the average recovery rate of open pit mines reached more than 96%, which was at the advanced level of domestic peers. Both open-pit coal mines were rated as super-safe and efficient mines by the National Coal Industry Association.
Industrial waste is discharged up to standard. In the process of coal mining and processing, the discharge of solid, liquid and gas wastes reaches the standard.
Strictly adhere to the system of "environmental protection facilities are designed, constructed and put into production and use at the same time", and all new construction, renovation and expansion projects passed the acceptance of government environmental protection departments during the year.
